Lié Athens Guide
We travelled to Athens in May to shoot our latest campaign and left with a long list of places we kept talking about. A city of contrasts, Athens brings together ancient landmarks, graffiti-covered streets, traditional tavernas, contemporary galleries, and quiet neighbourhood cafés just moments from its busiest squares. What we loved most wasn’t necessarily the landmarks, but the rhythm of everyday life: slow mornings, long lunches, sunset views, and evenings that seemed to stretch on. It’s a city made for wandering, where some of the best discoveries happen when you’re not looking for them.
This guide brings together the places we visited, returned to, and recommended most during our stay. From neighbourhood tavernas and wine bars to independent shops, galleries, and day trips by the sea, these are the spots that made us fall in love with Athens.
