Lié Tokyo & Kyoto Guide

Updated March 2026

Japan holds a special place in our hearts.

In the fall of last year, we visited Japan for the very first time, and it was nothing short of magical. Fall in Japan is stunning, with crisp air and the leaves transforming into a mesmerizing palette of red, orange, and gold.

We ate our way through both Tokyo and Kyoto, discovering incredible food and vibrant local spots at every turn. It was an unforgettable experience - exploring bustling streets, serene temples, and the captivating beauty of Japan’s autumn landscapes.

Scroll down to see some of the photos we snapped during our time in Japan and read our recommendations from these breathtaking cities.
